Theater group brings dreams to stage

The beautiful, crazy and amazing world of dreams is being brought to the stage this weekend with “Such Things As Dreams Are Made Of,” presented by the Little Theatre Group, Costa Rica’s oldest English-language community theater company.

Audiences will have the chance to peep into other people’s dreams in monologues, music, poetry readings and skits performed by 11 actors from the U.S., Canada, Britain, Colombia and Germany, most presenting their own works.

Directed by newcomer from Bermuda Annette Hallett, the show is being brought back for a second run after a successful opening in June.

Performances are set for July 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and July 24 at 2:30 p.m., at the Laurence Olivier Theater in San José, next to Sala Garbo on Avenida 2, Calle 28. For reservations, call 8858-1446 or visit www.littletheatregroup.org.
