Outdoor Concerts to Rock Downtown San José

The Central Bank Museum recently announced the schedule for its annual concert series, Conciertos en las Gradas (Concerts on the Grandstand), which will start tomorrow and run through March to take advantage of clear skies.

Five concerts will encompass a wide variety of music, from blues to classic rock, soul, contemporary pop and salsa. Free to the public, the outdoor concerts will be held Saturdays, at the entrance to the museum below the Plaza de la Cultura in downtown San José.

The schedule will be as follows: electronic world music by Santos y Zurdo, tomorrow, 11 a.m.; rock classics by Liverpool, Feb. 10, 3 p.m.; soul, blues and R&B with Sasha Campbell, Feb. 24, 3 p.m.; contemporary pop by the trio Escats, March 3, 11 a.m.; and Cuban music with Chocolate, March 17, 11 a.m.
