From the print edition

The upcoming International Arts Festival (FIA) will bring rare works of Francisco de Goya to Costa Rica’s capital.

The Rafael Ángel Calderón Museum will display the Goya pieces in a show called “Los Desastres de la Guerra” (“The Disasters of War”).

Sponsored by Spanish representatives in Costa Rica, the free exhibition began on March 17 and runs through May 10.The museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and is located in Barrio Escalante in downtown San José.

FIA, which began on March 15, unites 34 art exhibitions of 181 painters from 34 countries, including Brazil, Spain, France, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Venezuela, Italy and Central America.
