A Space for Emerging Artists

THE General Culture Administrationis offering the opportunity fornine emerging artists to exhibit theirworks in the lobby gallery of Teatro1887 in San José. Each artist’s workwill be displayed for one month,March through November 2006.Interested artists must have someexperience in the plastic arts, mustagree to participate in the exhibit ifselected and cannot have already participatedin more than two exhibits.Applications should include theartist’s full name, address, telephonenumber, e-mail address, fax number, acopy of the applicant’s personal identification,a resume, and a written explanationof the theme, technique andmaterials used in the artwork, alongwith photographs or color copies ofthe piece (cannot be digital).
