Three well-known Costa Rican artists will combine their talents and join forces with the “Art for Children” initiative to raise money for the country’s disadvantaged children and youths.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Paniamor Foundation, an institution that lobbies for rights and preventive programs for underage Costa Ricans, artists Isidro Con Wong, Fabio Herrera and Rodolfo Stanley will contribute works to be made into a limitededition set of three 8.5 x 11-inch prints. Only 100 sets will be made and will be priced at $500 each.
Art for Children seeks to use the expressive potential of art as a means to raise societal awareness of violence against children in Costa Rica.
“A small country becomes big when all its citizens … contribute their grain of sand to foundations such as Paniamor that watch out for our neediest kids,” Stanley said in a statement.
