INBio Partners with Tech Incubator

The private National Biodiversity Institute (INBio) is teaming up with a nonprofit business incubator to look for new high-tech ideas that would take advantage of Costa Rica s rich biodiversity.

Parque Tec, an organization dedicated to helping young entrepreneurs bring their technology and communication business ideas to fruition, will be holding one of its idea fairs this Saturday at INBio s facilities in Santo Domingo de Heredia, north of San José.

Attendees of the event will receive detailed information about the alliance between the technology incubator and the biodiversity institute, as well as guidance on how to present projects for development.

At this event we want to meet with people who have ideas for projects and how to carry them out to promote their incubation, said event organizer Petra Petry.

The event starts at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, and entrance is free.
