Job fair in San José to offer 1,100 posts

Lawyers, engineers and business administrators are some of the professionals that 20 companies will be looking to hire July 10-11 at a job fair organized by the Hispanoamerican University in San José.

This is the fifth edition of the job fair, and some 1,100 jobs will be open.

Admission to the event is free and will take place from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the university campus in Tibás, northwest of San José.

Companies looking for new talent include HP, Mckency, Deloitte, Strena, Epa, IBM, GAP and Young 360, among others.

“Some of the firms are looking for bilingual staff fluent not only in English but also in Portuguese,” said Maikol Brenes, one of the organizers.

Interested applicants must bring printed or digital résumés. They also should be prepared, as some of the participating companies will conduct interviews during the event.
