OSA Tourism Fair Set for Next Week

THE Osa Tourism Chamber will holdits annual EXPO-OSA tourism exchangeThursday at the Hotel Radisson in downtownSan José to promote the country’ssouthern Pacific region.The chamber’s members are preparingthe final details for the event, which isone of the country’s largest regionaltourism fairs.The fair aims to give the OsaPeninsula’s tourism providers an opportunityto meet with Costa Rican travelagents and foreign tourism wholesalers –agencies that create package tours – andpromote the destination (TT, June 4).“EXPO-OSA is surpassing the expectationsof its participants and the buyersplanning on attending,” said LuisCenteno, president of the Osa TourismChamber. “Many agencies are confirmingthey will attend.
