Gustico offers flavors, sights and sounds of rural Costa Rica

From piping hot pejibayes to all-natural face scrubs, from family-owned B&Bs to unique works of art, the Feria Gustico provides a way for josefinos and tourists alike to sample goods and services from around the country right in the heart of the city.

The annual fair kicked off yesterday and continues through tomorrow on the esplanade of Costa Rica’s National Stadium, located on the western edge of Sabana Park. Admission is free, and the fair offers food and drinks, live music and plenty of shopping.

The fair is organized by Costa Rica’s Ministry of Agriculture, with a wide range of public and private sponsors. For more information, visit the fair’s Facebook page.
