“Like so many others, we were truly impressed to hear that 2016 tourist traffic at Liberia’s Airport had increased by one-third in the space of a year,” said a Liberia Costa Rica Airport Transfers representative. “With so many visitors discovering the beauty of Guanacaste province and Liberia itself, word is still spreading rapidly.

“We believe that touching down in and departing from the airport should be as easy and pleasant as possible, and that’s why we’ve launched our new site and shuttle service. We’re committed to helping travelers make the most of their time in this wonderful part of Costa Rica.”

Famed worldwide for its natural beauty and pleasant climate, Costa Rica set a record last year by welcoming 2.9 million international visitors. This represented an increase of nearly 13 percent over the year before, according to the tourism board. Approximately seven in ten tourists arrive and depart by air, and Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport’s traffic figures jumped by a third compared to 2015.

Since it expanded to offer international flights in 1995, Liberia’s airport has grown rapidly to become Costa Rica’s second busiest and the ninth-most active in Central America. Travelers are invited to visit the Liberia Costa Rica Airport Transfers website to learn all about the area and book affordable, reliable private transportation of their own.
