The best photos from Costa Rica’s loss to Tunisia – and the afterparty

Costa Rica lost 0-1 to Tunisia on Tuesday in a sluggish performance for the Men’s National Team, otherwise known as La Sele.

Tunisian captain Wahbi Khazri scored the winning goal in the 35th minute, defeating Costa Rican defender Kendall Waston and star goalie Keylor Navas. The deft and high-energy throughout the game by the Tunisian squad didn’t allow La Sele room to think or set up plays.

However the most colorful moments of the game were generated not among the players, but among the fans: joyful Tunisian supporters lit fires in the stands and flooded the field after the game. Take a look at the faceoff, which took place in Nice, France.
