New Casa Alemana an example of clean energy sources

The Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce (AHK) opened the new Casa Alemana (“German House”) in Plaza Escazú, in west San José, an exhibition designed to show the benefits of using clean energy sources in Costa Rica.

The house takes advantage of self-sufficient technology and renewable energy, and attempts to implement them in  alternative development, but also comfortable. The residence uses solar panels to power the house.

Casa Aleman is part of an initiative by the Germany Embassy to bring more energy-efficient technology to the country and also to help solve energy problems. Several Costa Rican companies helped support the creation of the house.
