For those who live in Costa Rica and are looking to explore and enjoy some of the country’s most iconic landscapes and natural wonders, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the Bijagua area. This emblematic destination is home to Tenorio Volcano National Park and the breathtaking Río Celeste waterfall. It is also a habitat for the iconic tapir and a place of extraordinary natural beauty, perfect for relaxation and reconnecting with nature.

Located in this area is Hideaway Río Celeste, a 5-star hotel whose greatest highlight is its private trail leading to the river, where guests can enjoy a refreshing swim. In addition to accommodation, the hotel offers delicious and varied dining options, as well as a SPA featuring a sauna, steam room, and massage stations.

This is the perfect season for Costa Rican residents and domestic travelers to enjoy this paradise, as special rates are available from September 1 through October 31. This preferential rate allows guests to choose between staying in a Garden View Casita for US$245 plus VAT per night, or a Forest View Casita for US$315 plus VAT per night, with both options based on double occupancy.

The promotion also includes a full breakfast for two and a US$50 credit per reservation to be used at the new PRANA Spa, a wellness space offering exclusive therapies inspired by natural elements.

Gabriela Mora, General Manager of Hideaway Río Celeste, explains: “We want to invite Costa Ricans and residents to rediscover the extraordinary beauty we have within our own country. At Hideaway Río Celeste, we believe there is a unique sense of wellbeing that comes from combining comfort and genuine hospitality with the restorative power of the rainforest. Our wish is for every guest to slow down, reconnect and leave feeling renewed, while knowing that their experience takes place in an environment deeply committed to protecting the biodiversity that surrounds us.”

The experience is designed to restore balance between body, mind, and spirit through a comprehensive selection of activities and experiences. During their stay, visitors can embark on a guided nighttime walk to observe the fascinating local wildlife, participate in yoga classes surrounded by lush vegetation, enjoy sunrise birdwatching tours, take guided walks through the local flora, and explore the reserve’s private trails leading to a branch of Río Celeste.

The resort also offers facilities designed for relaxation and vitality, including a swimming pool, three outdoor jacuzzis, a Jungle GYM, and opportunities to explore local cuisine or unwind with holistic spa treatments.

The culinary offering is equally diverse. The hotel features Kantala Restaurant, specializing in fusion cuisine. Kantala is open to the public, and guests can make reservations to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. Mandarina Restaurant focuses on Asian cuisine. Café Romance offers coffee classes, fine pastries, and beverages. The property also features Cantina El Delirio, as well as a delicious BBQ experience by the pool.

This special promotion is valid exclusively for Costa Rican nationals and residents and is subject to availability. Those interested in making a reservation or obtaining more information can contact the hotel via WhatsApp at +506 6061-7193 or email reservations@riocelestehideaway.com.
