Paris Saint-Germain is prepared to “listen” to their Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas if he wishes to leave the club, but “no decision has been made about his future,” coach Christophe Galtier explained Friday.
“Keylor is a great competitor, exemplary in the work since the beginning of the season, he was named goalkeeper for the French Cup, I have total confidence in him,” said the coach.
“But there is what he feels and I know that the sporting management is listening. For what a good person Keylor is and his career we must respect him, listen to him, even if no decision has been made today about his future,” added Galtier at a press conference before the reception of Reims in the 20th round of Ligue 1.
The Costa Rican goalkeeper has reportedly agreed to join Nottingham Forest as a substitute for Italy’s Gianluigi Donnarumma in the league and Champions League, according to L’Equipe.
Asked several times about PSG’s operations in the transfer market, Galtier has not spoken about Lyon’s Rayan Cherki. He only insisted that PSG “want to compensate for the departure on the right of the attack”, in reference to Pablo Sarabia, who has signed for Wolverhampton.
As for Inter’s Slovakian center-back Milan Skriniar he said they have not considered signing in defense.
