TBT: The Tico Times was online in 2000
The Tico Times has come a long way.
Since we were established in 1956 by Elisabeth Dyer and a group of Lincoln School students, we have worked to offer a unique perspective on the news in Costa Rica and the world.
In 1995, that unique perspective came in the form of the internet. Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine didn’t archive The Tico Times until 2000 … so enjoy this snapshot of Costa Rica history!
