Costa Rica’s International Arts Festival (FIA 2012) opened on March 1 with events in La Sabana Park, FIA’s headquarters in western San José, and Parque La Libertad, in Pavas, also on the west end of the capital.

From March 16-25, more than 2,000 artists from 28 countries descended on the Costa Rican capital. The Tico Times gives you a taste of the event in our photo gallery.
