Janet Napolitano will visit Costa Rica

United States Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, will visit Mexico and Central America next week, including a stop in Costa Rica.

Napolitano will visit Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panamá between the 27th and 29th of February. Interim Customs and Border Protection commissioner, David Aguilar, will join Napolitano on the trip along with subsecretary of international affairs from the National Security Department, Alan Bersin.

During the trip, according to the U.S. Embassy, Napolitano will meet with her international counterparts to discuss efforts by the U.S. government to facilitate business and travel as well as international cooperation and information-sharing.
