Luxury hotel chain Bulgari Hotels and Resorts recently selected Costa Rica as the site of its first hotel in Latin America, the daily La Nación reported. The brand Bulgari is famous internationally for its high-end Italian jewelry stores. Bulgari Hotels is operated by Marriott’s luxury division, and room rates could reach $4,000 a night. According to the paper, the hotel will be built at the Papagayo EcoDevelopment in the northwestern Guanacaste province at a cost of $100 million.
