Bette and Dick Wald ofLake Oswego, Oregon, recently hosted their annual reunion barbecue party at their Casa Cecilia home in Santa Teresa. Among the 30 or so guests were Marilyn and Dick Dewald ofLincoln, California, who came for a two-week visit at their Nuestra Familia home.

 

Kathy Young got to make a wish and blow out the candles on her birthday cake. Another recent birthday celebrant was Gayle Glen.

 

Other guests from the United States and Canada were: Carol and Ian, who own Kina Surf; Christine and Tom Ritchie and their daughters, Aurora and Avalon; Don and Deb Martin; Owen Atkey and sons Aaron and Chito; Jesús and Yadira; and Maurene and daughter Zephyr. Missed were Tom and Kim MacMurray of Casa Cecilia, who were visiting their new home in Pinilla.

 

Milena and Rodolfo Quesada are new parents of a baby girl, Milena, named after her mom, born by Caesarean section Feb. 8 at the hospital inLiberia. Milena and Rodolfo, who own Carlita Carnicería in Cóbano, also have a son, Arsenio.
