ProNicaragua’s Plan Needs Ortega to Behave

Dear Nica Times:

Regarding the article “Nicaragua Targets AARP Crowd,” (NT, July 31), ProNicaragua has a great idea, but it will only work if President Daniel Ortega cleans up his act.

Americans living abroad are, for the most, part sensitive to their surroundings. New retirees coming to Nicaragua will reject the way Ortega runs the country and go somewhere else.

ProNicargua should give a wake-up call to the presidential couple.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that ProNicaragua’s efforts work.
