Freaky Theater Group Celebrates Halloween

The Little Theatre Group’s traditional Halloween Happening is set for tonight at 7:30 at the Laurence Olivier Theater off Paseo Colón in San José, next to Sala Garbo. This is the spooky party you don’t want to miss. You get to dress up and look weird, and you might even win an unforgettable prize for best costume.

The freaky festivities start after the group’s staged version of “Plan 9 from Outer Space,” directed by LTG’s wackiest multimedia ghoul, Kevin Huey. If you survive the show, you get to party!

To bring you out in droves (or covens), the group invites you to bring a treat to share: any kind of vampiric boca, salty or sweet, or just plain extraterrestrial – but leave your tricks outside with the broomsticks.

If you don’t want to dress up, you can see the show in plain clothes Saturday at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday at 2:30 p.m. For information, call 8355-1623 or visit www.littletheatregroup.org.
