Costa Rican Coffee A Hot Item Online

Two coffee companies sold their brew this month through an online auction called the “Cup of Excellence” for $1,510 per 100 kilos, according to the Costa Rican Institute of Coffee.

The companies are both from the Naranjo region of Alajuela province, northwest of San José, newswire ACAN-EFE reported.

Another company located in the region of Tarrazú, south of San José, sold its coffee for $1,210 per 100 kilos.
