Go Tournament to Take Place This Weekend

THE First National Go Tournamentwill take place this weekend atthe National Cultural Center(CENAC) towers in San José.A Japanese board game playedwith black and white stones on a grid,go has been gaining popularity inCosta Rica over the past couple ofyears, according to the Go Associationof Costa Rica.The tournament will be dividedinto three categories – beginner, intermediateand open – with medals andcertificates awarded to the top three ineach.
