THE Costa Rica Cricket Associationreported the 2005 season startedwith three limited-overs matchesplayed on Feb. 13 at Sintrajap CountryClub, in the Caribbean-slope town ofFiladelfia, just outside of Limón. Thisinaugurated the new Costa RicaCricket League, which will competeannually for the Lance Binns Trophy, asilver cup presented in memory of latecricketer Lancelot Binns (1916-2005)
