Hotels Lower Rates in Southern Caribbean

NOW is the time to visit the southernCaribbean. According to RolandoSoto, president of the Puerto Viejo andSouthern Caribbean Tourism Chamber,hotels in the area are offering discountsin February of up to 50% offtheir regular rates. Their objective is tohelp draw visitors and show thattourism zones and attractions – suchas canopy tours, botanical gardens,butterfly farms and conservation areas– are undamaged by last month’sflooding.To top it all off, “the beaches areoffering perfect waves for surfing,”Soto says.
