PANAMA CITY (AFP) –Panamanian President Martín Torrijosannounced this week that his governmentis annulling 121 diplomatic passports,including one issued to Scottish actorSean Connery, known for his 007 JamesBond performances.The Foreign Ministry announced it isrevoking the diplomatic passports, issuedby the government of former PresidentMireya Moscoso to her friends, politiciansand artists.“There is no reason that justifiesissuing diplomatic passports to foreigners,”said Guido Fuentes of the ForeignMinistry.
