Ministry Announces 2005 School Calendar

THE Ministry of Public Educationhas announced its proposed 2005 schoolyear calendar and is requesting teacherfeedback.The ministry proposes starting theschool year Feb. 7, 2005, and ending itDec. 15. Mid-term break would be July 4-15. The calendar also sets national testdays and other activities. It includes 205school days.The calendar will be finalized inOctober, according to a statement fromthe ministry.
