Even a deeply religious holiday like Easter is not completely free of mischief. Saturday, the night before Easter, marks the traditional "Burning of Judas" where Catholics set flame to effigies of Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus and led to his crucifixion.
Oceanographers at the National University (UNA) are warning Easter Holy Week travelers to take precautions at the beach this week due to riptides. The strongest currents were forecast at beaches in the northern Caribbean and Central Pacific.
