Costa Rica’s hiring outlook for the next quarter is mostly stable, according to the latest Employment Outlook Survey from consulting firm ManpowerGroup.
Wariness about the country’s employment and economic situation caused a slight decline in confidence among business sector leaders during the first quarter of this year, according to a recent survey.
According to a recent employment outlook survey, 22 percent of employers plan to hire new staff during the first quarter of 2016, an improvement over the current quarter and over the same period of 2015.
The best employment outlooks for the last quarter of 2015 are in the construction and services sectors, mostly in Heredia, Alajuela and in the coastal regions.
A majority of employers surveyed in a recent study said most recent graduates here are ineligible to be hired because they lack technical skills and experience.
