Mexican appliance manufacturer Mabe on Friday announced the closure of its refrigerator manufacturing plant in Costa Rica and the immediate dismissal of 445 of its 540 employees.
The hotel's Facebook and Twitter pages haven't been updated since Sept. 19, and attempts to contact hotel representatives on Wednesday evening were unsuccessful.
StarTek, a U.S. provider of business outsourcing services, will close its call center in Costa Rica on Aug. 30, according to MarketWatch, part of The Wall Street Digital Network.
