Costa Rica cooking giant chop suey

Some 23 chefs, most of Asian backgrounds, will cook the largest chop suey dish in the Americas on Sunday, in La Sabana Park, in western San José. The chop suey will serve 10,000 people.

The Costa Rican Art Museum is sponsoring the activity, which is financed by a brand of chop suey noodles.

Never has anyone done anything similar in the region, and the idea is to thank 20,000 families who consume VIGUI brand products each month.

Chefs will use a ton of products, including noodles, broccoli, cauliflower and meats such as chicken, smoked pork, and of course, soy sauce, among others.
