Exhibit combines paintings, jewelry and plenty of color

Painter Ana Gabriela Tristán and jeweler Adriana Gómez combine their work and talent in an exhibit titled “Diez años de color” (“Ten Years of Color”), opening Friday at the Calderón Guardia Museum in eastern San José’s Barrio Escalante.

The exhibit is made up of 25 paintings by Tristán, 60 pieces of jewelry by Gómez and some 12 works that combine the two artists’ talents in miniature paintings encapsulated in jewelry.

The works will be on display through April 25 at the museum at Avenida 11, Calle 25, 100 meters east and 100 m north of the Santa Teresita Church in Barrio Escalante, open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. For information, call 2222-6392.
