Women’s Club’s used book sale to support education

The Women’s Club of Costa Rica is holding its Used Book Sale tomorrow, Jan. 28, at the Pan-American School in San Antonio de Belén, west of the capital.

The sale will offer bargains for all book lovers. Shoppers will be able to visit the Coffee and Baked Goods Sale Corner and browse through a fantastic selection of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, board games, puzzles and current magazines. 

Founded in 1940, the Women’s Club of Costa Rica is one of the oldest continuously operating service organizations in Costa Rica. Proceeds from tomorrow’s book sale will support the club’s Educational Scholarship and Reading is Fun projects. 

The book sale will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Pan-American School, 300 meters south of El Rodeo hotel and restaurant in San Antonio de Belén. For more information about the sale and how to make donations, call 2589-2037 or 2293-5118. For more on the Women’s Club, visit www.wccr.org.
