Costa Rica job fair Tuesday focuses on tourism industry

Hotels, restaurants, transport companies and other tourism-related businesses will be offering 650 jobs at a fair Tuesday at the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica‘s Heredia campus.

Entrance is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The university’s job placement director, María Fernanda Cordero, said the fair will offer employment options for administrative and hands-on positions. Recruiters will be looking for both professional and technical staff.

Interested job-seekers should bring their résumés both in print and digital formats.

Recruiters from 24 companies will be looking for candidates at the fair. Participant companies are: Hotel Villas Sol, Hotel Costa Rica Marriott, Hotel Marriott los Sueños, Hotel Residence Inn, Hotel Courtyard Escazú, Hotel Courtyard Alajuela, QSR International (KFC, Teriyaki, Quiznos y Chef’s Supply), Swiss Travel, Intercultura, Sodexo, Hilton Cariari, Hotel Westin Conchal, Hotel Wyndham Herradura, Hotel Punta Islita, Bufalo Grill & Market, La Tirimbina, Hotel Flamingo Beach Resort, Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve & Spa, Grupo Colonial, Hotel San José Palacio, Hotel Secrets Papagayo, Hotel Dreams Las Mareas, Hotel Park Inn, Hotel Wyndham Garden.
