Jazz Quintet from Juilliard to Perform Wednesday

A jazz quintet from the prestigiousJuilliard School of Music in New YorkCity will perform Wed., May 25, at7:30 p.m., in the Eugene O’NeillTheater at the Costa Rican-NorthAmerican Cultural Center in BarrioDent, east of downtown San José.The talented young musicians arethe latest to visit the country as part ofthe cultural center’s “Promising Artistsof the 21st Century” program,which brings up-and-coming youngmusicians from the United States toCosta Rica.Admission to Wednesday’s concertcosts ¢2,000 ($4.25); ¢1,500 ($3.20)for seniors. The musicians will also begiving master classes and additionalperformances during the next week.For more information, call 207-7554.
