A coalition of anti-war organizationswill unite next week to symbolically removeCosta Rica from the list of countriesthat support the U.S.-led Coalitionin Iraq.Peace activists, human-rights groups,educators and students are planning ameeting June 9 at 7 p.m. at the LegislativeAssembly building to condemn PresidentAbel Pacheco and his administration forcomplicity in crimes committed againstthe Iraqi people.The presentation will include a formaldeclaration against the President and thesymbolic removal of Costa Rica from thelist of Coalition countries published by theWhite House.Daniel Camacho, president of theCentral American Human RightsCommission, will speak at the event,which will include a minute of silence.For info, call 283-6046.
