Johan Venegas has Costa Rica Soccer’s Goal of the Year

In last nights game, Alajuelense’s Johan Venegas had the goal of the year (so far) against Cartagines and its going to be tough to beat. This incredible bicycle kick goal help lead a comeback effort against Cartagines and an eventual 3 – 2 win.

The veteran Alajuelense player who started his career back in 2011, has previously played in the MLS with both the Montreal Impact and Minnesota United teams and signed with Alajuelense at the end of 2020.

He also was on the Costa Rica team that went to 2018 World Cup in Russia and is also currently on the Costa Rica National team as they make their push for a ticket to Qatar 2022.
