Costa Rican Hotels and Restaurants Expo to welcome 150 exhibitions

The Costa Rican Hotels and Restaurants Expo, EXPHORE 2019, will showcase exciting products and services for the hospitality and gastronomy sectors at Pedregal Events Center, in San Antonio de Belén, Heredia, north of San José from June 11 to 13.

Organizers say the event’s 150 stands will feature national and international businesses that cater to the needs of hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, catering services and bakeries, among others.

“EXPHORE is a consolidated space for those who work in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors at all levels,” said Karl Hempel, an event spokesperson. “That’s why the business that is carried out during these three days are key in the annual strategy of all these small, medium and large companies.”

An EXPOHORE press release says this year’s highlights will be a focus on technology integration, waste reduction, and preparation for Costa Rica’s new tax-reform laws.

Entry is free if you pre-register on the EXPOHORE website. Those who don’t will need to pay 3,000 colones (about $5) at the gate.
