Tico Times Pic of the Day: Corcovado National Park from above

Corcovado National Park contains 2.5 percent of the world’s biodiversity, according to Costa Rica’s National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC).

To protect that biodiversity, the national park was established in 1975. The area remains one of the best places in Costa Rica to see wildlife, unspoiled forest and beaches.
