A holiday tradition that returned to the streets of San José in 2016 was back again this year to delight spectators: Carnaval.

The parade, which is a downtown Chepe tradition but was moved to Desamparados, just south of the capital, for 11 years until last year, filled the streets with color and music. Take a look.
