Free concert benefiting wetlands in downtown San José on Friday

A free concert will be held on the Plaza de la Democracia in downtown San José.

The event, organized by the Mision Humedales Vida, Para Todos (Wetlands Life for All), will begin at 3 p.m. and peformances will go into 8 in the evening. The musicians playing are Esteban Monge, Bernardo Quesada, Mechas, Dionisio Cabal, El Guato, Banton and Toledo, Reación Direkta, Circo Parrascarte and Sonámbulo.

The concert is designed to create public awareness about the importance of wetlands and the rich biodiversity provided by the Caribbean Northeast Wetland.
