Christopher Bridges, better known as the hip-hop artist and actor Ludacris, got engaged to longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiengue during their flight down to Costa Rica this week.

Once the private jet carrying the couple was airborne, the “Fast and Furious 6” star projected the words “Eudoxie, will you marry me?” on the grass below, to her surprise.

“BEST DAY OF MY LIFE WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! #milehighproposal,” Mbouguiengue posted to her Instagram account, while Bridges posted, “She didn’t say yes. She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal.”

The couple started dating in 2009, reported US Weekly.

The self-proclaimed “King of Costa Rica” and his bride-to-be have posted several photos of their Costa Rica beach vacation alongside Indy car driver Marco Andretti and other friends.

Bridges might not be the only celebrity to get engaged in Costa Rica this holiday season. The Las Vegas Sun reported rumors that pop icon Britney Spears may have gotten engaged to producer Charlie Ebersol during a party at Mel Gibson’s Mal País residence this week, but there has been no confirmation yet.
