Orienteering Course Offered for Adventurers

TRYING to keep Costa Rica’s racers from getting lost, adventure racing company Euforia Expeditions is offering a full-day orienteering course Oct. 29, for beginners, and Oct. 30, for intermediate orienteers. The Land Navigation courses will train participants in the use of maps, compasses, coordinates and other tools of the adventure racer’s trade in Heredia’s INBioparque nature reserve, north of San José.Both levels of courses begin with theory and end with hands-on practice.
