Location
This property is located on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is approximately ten miles from Quepos in the mountains east of Damas. From Damas it is a short drive through the Palma Tica fields, to Cerros and San Rafael de Cerros. From the Property it is 5 miles to Damas, 10 miles to Quepos and 20 miles to Parrita.

Views
There are magnificent views from the finca that includes well known places such as Punta Quepos and Isla Damas.
More views are available from the top of the garage. These include views from Punta Quepos to Parrita and the mountains to the east.
Climate
It has a unique habit with its own microclimate. This area receives approximately 120 to 160 inches of rain a year. It is hot and humid in the morning but during the wet season it gets a cooling rain almost every afternoon.
Access
The last mile is steep in places, but it has a good rock base. It is only accessible with 4×4 vehicles.
Landscape and Forest Cover
It has a high level of biological diversity with many species of plants and trees. It is mountainous with two springs that run most of the year. Each spring feeds into a creek that meet at the lower part of the property. There are many varieties of trees. Many trees were planted to provide food for the wildlife. The upper part is primary “old – growth” forest. The Cañas river access is within a few miles.
Flora
There is a large number of different kind of trees from the smallest to the largest trees that grow in Costa Rica. There are also ferns, mosses, orchids, fungi and lichen.
Fauna
With the high level of biological diversity on this property there are butterflies, birds, insects, reptiles, snakes and different species of mammals. Some are migratory and some are there all year round.
Essentials
Water is available from AyA (Costa Rican Water Company) the water comes from a spring in the mountains above and is delivered to Cerros by large pipe.
