Little Theatre Group unveils latest production

When a performance is entitled “Wear Comfy Shoes: An Immersive Theater Experience,” it gives us an inkling that audiences might be in for an unusual evening.

International theater artist Jesai Jayhmes brings his unique approach to the Little Theatre Group over the next two weeks with this new production, which combines the theme of “Being Drunk on Power” through the text of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” and “Being Drunk on the Wine of Divine Love” through the text of Omar Khayyam’s “Rubiyat.”

The production will be staged in two different locations of the gardens at the Little Theatre Group’s headquarters, Casa LTG on Calle Rolex in Escazú.

Jayhmes is a veteran actor, writer, director and teacher.

Performances will take place April 22. 23, 29, 30, at 7 p.m.

For more information, tickets or directions, visit the group’s website or Facebook page, or call 8858-1446. Student discounts and teaching materials available for English-language learners.
