Wait! Don’t throw out your old and/ or worn-out clothes. They’re needed by the Colectivo Artistico Reciclando en Salamanca por la Sostenibilidad (CARTS), which has been commissioned to make shopping bags for the local farmers’ market.
To help, the Talamancan Association of Ecotourism and Conservation (ATEC) in Puerto Viejo center, next to the Casa de la Cultura, Hill except the following: clean, old clothing; clean, used sheets and hammocks; material part of broken umbrellas; fabric scraps; other clean items that might be used to make recycled art.
