Democrats Abroad of Costa Rica is sponsoring a used book sale April 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Escazú’s Plaza Colonial, 300 meters west of the Scotiabank on the old road to Sana Ana. Stop by to pick up some bargain fiction and nonfiction books. Book donations are welcome; call Ruth Dixon at 2494-6260 for information on drop-offs. Register to vote absentee at the sale or online at www.votefromabroad.org.
