Tamarindo at play

Tamarindo has hit the big time with Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple,” produced by Mixed Nuts, an outgrowth of Beach Nuts, the popular children’s theater production company.

“Laughter and great food, in a beautiful Costa Rican setting, it truly does not get any better.” says director Joy Weber. “We hope that we can build on the success of this type of entertainment in Guanacaste and in Costa Rica, “ adds Paul Belanger, who plays Oscar and is the founder and director of Beach Nuts.

Catch the show this weekend, Friday and Saturday nights at Fisch’s Restaurant in Tamarindo. Dinner is at 6 p.m.; curtain goes up at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $39.95 at Jaime Peligro Book Store and Fisch’s Restaurant in Tamarindo.
