Pejibaye Festival Under Way in Tucurrique

THE National Pejibaye Festival is under way through Oct. 30 in the Caribbean-slope town of Tucurrique, known as the “Land of Pejibaye.” Activities scheduled for the weekend include a pejibaye-based recipe contest, bullfights, dances and a concert. For a full schedule, see the Calendar pages.
