Embrujarte Fair To Bewitch Art Lovers Till Sunday

San José’s newest shopping mall is opening its swanky space to more than 110 national and international artists through this weekend.

The third edition of the Embrujarte art and culture fair kicked off Wednesday and will be open through Sunday at Avenida Escazú, in the western suburb from which the mall takes its name.

Well-known artists such as Guillermo Porras, Ana Wein, Donald Jiménez, Angel Lara, Rodolfo Stanley, Alejandro Villalobos, Sara Morales, Jorge Tamayo and Manuel Vargas are among those exhibiting and selling their paintings, sculptures, photographs and other artworks at the fair.

Organized by Galería Arte Hoy, Estilos y Casas magazine and noted Costa Rican artist Isidro Con Wong, the event seeks to promote and support art and to showcase participating artists’ works at no cost to the public.

Avenida Escazú is on the east side of CIMAHospital. The Embrujarte fair will be open through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
